Venini
In 1921, Giacomo Cappellini, an antiques dealer, and Paolo Venini, a Milanese lawyer from a family specialised in glass-blowing, founded the Italian glass manufactory.
The name Venini has come to represent Italy’s artistic and technical expertise in glass art. Over the years, Venini has worked together with many famous designers. This has resulted in the creation of original and unique art objects made of glass. Many of them are exhibited in museums and art galleries such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Among the well-known artists are, for example, Tomaso Buzzi, Carlo Scarpa, Tadao Ando, Gio Ponti and Fulvio Bianconi.
